I am falling asleep as I write this. Just barely survived my first day of teaching -- spent a full 13 hours at work. Death to anyone who gets between me and my pillow tonight.
The day went as smoothly as could be expected given how little I was prepared. The kids will be...interesting...it was a good day. BUT, relative to most first days of school it wasn't so great. I actually had to raise my voice (ON THE FIRST DAY!). This does not bode well for the year. Although it might provide for some interesting blog fodder.
