Does Anyone Actually LIKE Valentine's Day?

As promised, here is a longer post. I'm sorry that I haven't been posting as of late...it's been a hectic week. Not with academics mind you, but everything else. However, this weekend looks like it will be devoted to those academics that I had been neglecting. Damn.

Whatever. It's Valentine's Day weekend and once again I will be spending it "single" and lame. Despite the fact that Jamie and I have been together for six Valentine's Days, only two of those have actually been spent together within the same 1,000 mile radius. Jamie, it's not too late to fulfill my fantasy of coming home to find you here...I'd be really surprised. Really. You'd better get on that. Did you know that Jamie and I got together in 1998? Weirdness.
